Major General Awosanya served in the Nigerian Army for 30 years before he retired. The General is a man of many parts- an administrator, a financial analyst, a strategist, a manager of man, material and money. The General is a Member of the Association of Certified National Accountants of Nigeria (CNA), a Member of Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM), and a member of the prestigious National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) where he bagged his mni. He attended the University of Lagos and the Federal University of Technology, Akure, and bagged his Ph.D. in Accounting from Marlborough University, Honolulu, USA. While in the Army he had the following medals to his credit:
- Forces Service Star (FSS),
- Meritorious Service Star (MSS),
- Distinguished Service Star (DSS) and
- United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
Since leaving the army on a meritorious note, he has devoted his time to business and academic pursuits. He has been successful in both and has acquired degrees up to Ph.D. from reputable universities. He attained the summit in the military, business and academic fields through hard work. This was characterized by determination, honesty, integrity and good character. He has decided to impart these ideals to young Nigerians for proper national development. His vision is to build the Nigerian that the Nation clamors for. Hence the establishment of this proposed University. The University shall contribute to the economy of the region in particular and the state as a whole.
The University is conceived as a response to the Government’s call towards contributing to educational development in the country by individuals or groups of people or religious bodies. It is to serve as a catalyst in the educational, moral and entrepreneurial development of the people in Nigeria in particular and the world in general. It shall also seek to inculcate values in the students that will inspire them to be future leaders that will be job creators rather than job seekers.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science with Honors (Magna Cum Laude) in Biology from Howard University, Washington DC, USA and her Masters in Business Administration at Kennesaw State University, Georgia, USA. She has received many notable certifications with her most recent being for completing a course in ‘Sustainable Business Strategy’ at Harvard Business School. She has a strong focus and core competencies in banking sector especially in Organizational Leadership and Management.
Mrs. Simon has garnered over 18 years of work experience, of which over 16 years have been in the banking sector (Commercial & Mortgage Banking) within and outside the shores of Nigeria. She has a broad range of past experiences working at top financial institutions in the world such as Suntrust Bank, J.P Morgan Chase Bank and most recently Bank of America.
She is currently the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of a reputable Mortgage Bank in Nigeria after successfully serving as its Executive Director in charge of Credit and Enterprise Risk Management portfolios.
She is a Fellow of Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professionals, a Honorary Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, an Associate Member of Institute of Directors Nigeria amongst other laudable career achievements.

Professor Saburi Adejimi Adesanya is a Professor of Pharmacognosy of Obafemi Awolowo University. He was at various times, the Head of Department, member of Council, and Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration) of the University. He later became the Vice Chancellor, Olabisi University, Ago Iwoye. At the end of his tenure, he served as a visiting Professor at National University Commission, Abuja, before his retirement after 35 years of service in the university systems. He later served as a member of the governing board of Federal Institute of Industrial Research, Oshodi, and also appointed member of the Governing Council of University of Ilorin, Ilorin. He has won many local and international awards. He is married with Children.

Abiodun Olusegun Awosanya is currently the Executive Director, Operations at Ruby Group, overseeing Ruby Courier and logistics, RubyTravel and Tours, and Ruby Bureau De Change. He also doubles as Executive Director, Business Development of Pera-Beam limited, a company that specialises in cooling/air conditioning for commercial and residential users respectively.
He is leading the current strategic initiative of Pera-Beam to diversify into renewable solutions-specifically solar energy with the sole intention of driving the market from battery/ inverter combination to power station/solar generators. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business-Economics and a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the University of Buckingham in England, United Kingdom. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Information Systems from Leicester Business Academy in England, United Kingdom to complement his skill set.
Abiodun is a multifaceted business leader with a seasoned experience across various domains such as leadership, administration, logistics, human and capital asset management both in England and Nigeria. He had worked at Bridge Gate Securities, Nottingham England and Europa Group Logistics, Leicester, England ; where he horned his skills in managing complex organisational challenges for results.
Abiodun is an astute business man. He has keen interests in business ventures such as real estates and the stock market. He is a strong believer in quality education for our future leaders, students. He mentors many youths in Lagos. He is a devoted family man, who enjoys spending quality time with his family, parents, siblings and relatives.

Mr. E.A. Oyebanji, SAN is a dynamic, resourceful and an energetic legal practitioner with more than 39 years post-call experience in debt recovery and asset management, oil and gas law, receivership/insolvency practice, Maritime/Admiralty law practice and procedure. He handles contentious and non-contentious legal matters. He always adopts business oriented, fresh and imaginative but pragmatic approaches to legal issues based on a foundation of technical excellence in law and a depth of commercial experience. Given the freshness of his ideas, and the friendly atmosphere in the firm, he is able to maintain a leading role necessary for clients and the transactions he handles. Through the use of preemptive legal method, Oyebanji, SAN has been able to win several cases for banks, financial institutions, public and private corporations, and government agencies.
E.A. Oyebanji, SAN obtained his law degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria in 1984 and underwent his law school training in 1985 at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators of Nigeria and is the Founder and Managing Partner of Ade Oyebanji & Co., a law firm with its head office located in Lagos, and a branch in Abuja, Nigeria.

Oyebanji, SAN is an Arbitrator per excellence and has been appointed as Arbitrator over several arbitrary proceedings. He has also consulted for several governmental and non-governmental organisations, such as the Nigerian Communication Commission on fixed wireless telephone, and has acted as solicitor in the AOS-ORWELL Merger Agreement, one of the biggest rental service company in Nigeria with a net value of over $250m.

A. Oyebanji, SAN has presented several papers, such as the paper on Scheme of Arrangement; Topical Issues and Global Trends, presented at the section on Business Law of the Nigerian Bar Association; Litigation as an Alternative to Debt Recovery at the Remedial/Classified Asset Group of the First Bank of Nigeria Ltd; and Insolvency and Receivership presented to the Risk Management and Legal Department of the Bank of Industry. He has also authored several articles in contemporary journals on legal insolvency.

He is currently the Chairman, Fritaz Resources Ltd; and MD/CEO, Brecil Consultants Limited. He was the MD/CEO of Brent Mortgage Bank Ltd. He retired in January, 2023 after 13 years on the saddle. Kola Abdul is a 1983 graduate of University of Liberia, with Masters from Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma. He is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (F.C.I.B), Fellow of Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professionals and an Associate of the Institute of Capital Market Registrars (A.C.M.R).
He has to his credit over 39 years of banking experience. In 2015, he attended Canadian Housing Finance Workshop in Toronto, Canada. In September 2020, he concluded certificate course on Sustainable Business Strategy at the Prestigious Harvard Business School, USA. He authored a book titled ‘Imperatives of Bank Branch Management in Nigeria’. The book was published in December 2007 and reviewed in 2015.
Kola Abdul was the Chairman of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Lagos State Branch between April 2017 and March 2019. On 3rd September, 2021 he launched another book titled “Mortgage Finance in Nigeria, the Fundamentals and Sustainability.” He is currently the Chairman, Board of Trustees of Tunwase Mabawonku Foundation, Isonyin, Ogun State. Also, he is the Chairman of Building Committee of Lagos Bankers House of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.
In 2022, Kola Abdul was elected President of University of Liberia Alumni in Nigeria and Diaspora (ASULAND). He was the President of Eda Club Isonyin, ljebu; Link Club, Surulere, Lagos; Member, Coconut Country Club, Jibowu, Lagos and currently the Otun Giwa Adinni of lsonyin, ljebu. He is happily married with children.4545
